Rule – Indefinite Article
There is no Indefinite Article in Irish. In English we use a and an to introduce something that is non-specific:
a – for nouns beginning with a consonant; a ball.
an – for nouns beginning with a vowel; an apple.

In Irish a and an are essentially built into the noun.
